Last week in honor of Earth Day, students studied the work of British artist Andy Goldsworthy and his "land art" sculptures. Students learned how artists are creative with materials and can create art with almost anything that is around them. Students took to exploring their own home and outdoor environments for interesting objects and natural materials in order create some "land art" art of their own. See their original artwork in the slideshow above. They did a fantastic job!

FAQ's How do I sign up for a Canvas account as a parent? How do I create an account in the Canvas Parent app on my iOS device? How do I create an account in the Canvas Parent app on my Android device? In the last week prior to our school closure, our three Graphic Arts classes were in the midst of learning about photography. They studied famous photographers, tried new perspectives, and captured some unique parts of our AMS campus. It seems fitting now in the face of extended closure to share those images digitally with you. I hope they will serve as a reminder that we can look differently and discover beauty and joy in the everyday things around us. Thanks for visit our gallery, and a special thank you to our students who tried out this new medium and stretched and explore to see things differently. I am so proud of you and the work we have created together this year -- Ms. Morefield You can see our new student photo gallery by clicking here or using the tab at the top of our webpage called "Student Gallery".
